Study tour at Södersjukhuset (SÖS) in Stockholm

On September 17th we will have the chance to get a closer look at Södersjukhuset and learn more about their work on reducing energy as well as climate and environmental impact.

During the morning session we will listen to a presentation from SÖS about their environmental strategy and achievements. Following a presentation from Locum about the new hospital buildings facilitating operation theatres, wards and the new emergency department for SÖS. The buildings are certified according to Miljöbyggnad and received a price as Miljöbyggnad of the year 2018.

During the afternoon session we will have a tour of the new buildings. We will among other things have a look at the new catering that has reduced food waste by 70%.

There is a is a limited number of participants, please send me a quick reply to reserve a seat. Also note if  you are interested to make a pitch during the morning session. Focus on Energy and Climate smart solutions will be prioritized.

The event is a collaboration between Södersjukhuset and NCSH and within the Platform for internationalization: Energy and Climate smart Healthcare, financed by the Swedish Energy Agency.
