What’s Happening in the NCSH Network – 2026
2026 is a busy year across the NCSH network, with new projects, international delegations and key events already underway.
Here’s what’s happening right now
The 8th Nordic Conference on Sustainable Healthcare will take place on October 1st, 2026 in Malmö. The conference remains the main meeting point for the network and will once again be part of a full Sustainable Healthcare Week with side events, sessions and networking opportunities. The preliminary programme is now live on the conference page. Confirmed speakers, sponsors and exhibitors are already on board and dialogues with other organisations are ongoing. Momentum is building.

Delegations & International Activity
NCSH continues to expand its international presence in 2026.
Confirmed and planned activities include:
-European delegation to Montréal, Canada (April 27–30)
-Exploration of a new Nordic healthcare delegation to Portugal (contact NCSH for more information)
-Participation in events across Mexico, Denmark and beyond

New Project: Measuring Sustainability in Healthcare
A new project funded by the Swedish Energy Agency is now running (March–December 2026).
Focus:
-Developing a tool for analysing sustainability performance
-Key areas: energy use and climate impact
