The Nordic Center for Sustainable Healthcare (NCSH), together with the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare (CSH, United Kingdom), the Comité pour le développement durable en santé (C2DS, France), the Canadian Coalition for Green Health Care (CCGHC, Canada), and Synergie Santé Environnement (SSE, Quebec, Canada), has joined forces to establish the International Consortium for Sustainable Healthcare (ICSH).
The consortium brings together five organisations working to advance the environmental sustainability of healthcare systems and strengthen climate change adaptation. By aligning methodologies and sharing expertise, the collaboration aims to support the implementation of large-scale sustainable healthcare projects internationally.
With a combined 125 years of expertise, the founding organisations bring a strong international perspective to the shared ambition of transforming healthcare towards more sustainable and climate-resilient systems.
“Our goals are aligned, and together we can achieve more,” said the founders: Daniel Eriksson, Founder & CEO of the Nordic Center for Sustainable Healthcare (NCSH); Jérôme Ribesse, Co-founder & Executive Director of Synergie Santé Environnement (SSE); Dr. Myles Sergeant, Executive Director of the Canadian Coalition for Green Health Care (CCGHC); Rachel Stancliffe, Founder & Chief Executive Officer of The Centre for Sustainable Healthcare (CSH); and Véronique Molières, Director of the Comité pour le développement durable en santé (C2DS).
Through this international collaboration, the organisations aim to strengthen cooperation, share knowledge and accelerate progress towards more sustainable healthcare systems.
